A rare and unusual sterling silver and crocodile skin cigar humidor by Poole, of Taunton Massachusettes.

An impressive 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep and just over 4 inches high. The interior lined with Brazillian cedar wood and having a humidifier to the rear. Having no interior divider, the humidor can comfortably hold the largest of cigars.

The lid decorated with 4 crocodile skin panels in a rich cognac colour, the centre adorned with 3 finely recreated sterling silver cigars.

Stamped to the base with a rampant lion, "Sterling" and an inventory/design number of "79". Circa 1930.
