A very large and imposing Art Deco combination cigar and cigarette box, with built in cigar cutter and removable hexagonal lighter. By Mappin & Webb, dated for London 1928.
The lift up lids reveal one open section for cigars, the other with a divider for cigarettes. Centrally to the lid there's a two hole cigar cutter, behind it a removable hexagonal cigar lighter.
Of very large size, the box measures 12 inches wide. In superb condition throughout.
The lighter has a lift off lid and internal wadding which can be filled with regular lighter fuel. The two lids lift up to reveal heavily and very fresh gilded interiors, the sections lined with satin wood.
A large an imposing piece.
